Working barn fire in Penn Township

On Monday evening, Station 26 was dispatched to Auction Road for a reported barn fire. Chief 26-1 (Reif) arrived and reported a working fire in a 20X30 barn with multiple exposures. Engine 26-1 arrived and stretched two lines. Engine 23-1 arrived shortly after Enigine 26-1 and stretched an additional two lines. Crews worked together to knock the bulk of the fire in less than 10 minutes. Crews remained on scene for 3.5 hours performing overall. Thanks to Station 23 (East Petersburg), Station 25 (Lititz), Station 28 (Penryn), Station 207 (Neffsville, MTFR), and Station 69 (Hempfield) for their assistance.
