On Saturday, August 27th while the area was bracing for Hurricane Irene to arrive, some members spent the day at Lancaster County Public Safety Training Center for the last 8 hours of Truck 1. The instructors for the day was Jason Greer and Buddy Hess. There were members from Manheim, Penryn, Mastersonville, and Lititz in the class. Members spent the day going over ground ladders, forcible entry, Ventilation, along with search techniques. The class finished up just prior to the rain setting in for the evening.
