Just after 6pm, LCWC dispatched Manheim Fire Department to the 100 block of North Grant Street for a reported dwelling fire. Chief 26 had smoke showing from the structure on arrival and confirmed a working fire on the second floor. Crews were quickly able to contain the fire to one room and worked to check for any extension to the attic space. The cause is under investigation.
