In the past 24 hours, Manheim Fire has responded to 59 incidents. These include over 20 water rescues and more than 25 residential floodings. These calls for service were in addition to inside/outside investigations, vehicle accidents, fire alarms, utility/wires, and a residential building fire. As a result of these incidents, 29 people were rescued and brought to safety.

We would like to extend a special thank you to the mutual aid departments that assisted us. We could not have done it without the outstanding performance from the following companies. Pioneer Fire Company No. 1 Marietta, PA., Ephrata Pioneer Fire Company, East Petersburg Volunteer Fire Company Station 23, Mastersonville Fire Co, Penryn Fire Company No. 1, Rheems Fire Department, Fire Department Mount Joy, Maytown-East Donegal Township Fire Department, Columbia Borough Fire Department Station 80, and Blue Rock Regional Fire District
