The volunteers remain busy over the weekend into this morning responding to 7 calls for service including 1 dwelling fire in East Petersburg, 5 accidents, 1 with reported with entrapment, and 1 medical assist.
Saturday crews responded with Engine 26-1 to East Petersburg. First arriving crews found a smoke condition on the Bravo side. Engine 26-1 crew staged in manpower staging until eventually being released. While returning to Manheim crews came upon a motor vehicle accident that had just occurred. Crews called the accident into county fire and checked for injuries. No injuries were found and the crew cleaned up and controlled the fluids on the ground.
Sunday proved busy as well with 3 accidents including one with reported entrapment. No entrapment was found and minor injuries were reported.
Crews have responded to 2 calls already Monday starting with a medical assist at 3am and then a vehicle accident at 6am.
