Hello Manheim community. Did you know that we have a Museum at the Firehouse? In our museum we have items that date back to before our current fire Department was founded in 1812. Our history dates back to the Union Fire Company, the Star Fire Company, Hope Fire Company, Hose Fire Company, and many more. In the year 1812 the Hope Fire Engine and Hose Company #1 was chartered. We need your help! We are looking for items that make up the history of the fire departments that you may own. We are looking for any items from helmets, coats, pictures, or whatever it maybe to donate or to just put in our museum on consignment. Any items would greatly be appreciated! Feel free to contact the fire company or just stop by any Monday night at 7pm for our weekly training night. Thank you for your help.
