Rescue/Engine/Squad and the Fire Chief with 12 personnel total just cleared a motor vehicle accident involving a train in Penn Township. The Chief arrived and confirmed no injuries with the vehicle or rail personnel. Rail personnel were unable to move the locomotives per their protocol until proper inspections were done by the rail company. A quick response from the rail company and inspectors, who were able to determine no damage to the train or rail, allowed the locomotive to move out of the intersection. The incident lasted just under 40 minutes total.
