Over the course of the last three weeks, the volunteers at station 26 completed vehicle stabilization and air bag/bottle jack training. Week one reviewed stabilization techniques using sidewinders and cribbing. Week two reviewed lifting bags and stabilizing a vehicle while lifting it. To conclude the training, this past week members completed a lifting and stabilization drill. Crews used air bags and bottle jacks to move a tennis ball through a wooden maze while following the "lift an inch, crib an inch" policy. Two different teams competed against each other to complete the maze in under 30 minutes.
