Today around 4:30, Station 26 and surrounding companies were dispatched to a house fire on Fairland Rd. Deputy 26 arrived with a working fire on the C/D corner of 2 story dwelling. Engine 26-1 and Engine 25-1 arrived and deployed handlines knocking a bulk of the fire quickly. Crews opened walls and ceiling to discover all the hidden pockets of fire and performed ventilation on the main part of the house. With the quick response and knockdown of the fire, the main portion of the house had minimal damage.
