This afternoon, Station 26 was dispatched to a house fire on N. Penryn Rd. Chief 26-1 arrived with a light smoke condition from the residence. Engine 26-1 arrived and found a small fire on the stove that extended to the cabinets above the stove. The fire was extinguished with a water can and the residence was ventilated.Units cleared the scene 40 minutes after dispatch.
