At 8am this morning volunteers were alerted for a Brush fire on Colebrook Road. Chief 26 along with Engine 26 responded and were informed PD was on scene with a fire in a mulch pile. At the time of Dispatch the farmer was utilizing a liquid tanker to spread water on the pile. Chief 26 requested two additional tankers and a Engine for the fill site to help bring the fire under control. Crews operated for about 3 hours before returning. Special thanks to Mastersonville Fire Co and Hempfield Fire Department for the assistance on this very warm day.
